NITIN D’SOUZA - Chief COACH

Nitin D’souza as founder of Star Athletes United have been associated as a coach with Athletics and Marathon Fitness Training Under his able guidance and enriched experience, he as a principal coach organized many marathons including those under banner of star athletes united Looking at the increasing awareness to stay fit and challenges faced by distance and time, many participants approached him to take exclusive training for marathons. These events and requests from fitness conscious athletes became game changers and sowed seeds of Lightning Feet.

An ardent athlete himself and Founder of Star Athletes United, Mr. Nitin Dsouza has been involved with Sports and Athletics since last 22 years. His strong appetite to spread awareness about health and fitness amongst young and old equally, propelled to grow neonate Star Athletes United to strength where 116 Athletes and 30 Marathon Runners currently who are being trained professionally within a short span since inception.

  • 2009-2010 - Represented India in 1st International Veterans Athletic Championship, India-2010 (Event 200 meters and 400 meters in Age 35+ Category)
  • 1993-1994 - Winner of Bronze Medal in 400 meters and 200 meters in event held by The Bombay Suburban District Track & Field Champions
  • 1993-1994 - Winner of Bronze Medal in 4 x 400 meters relay in Maharashtra State level Open Athletic Meet 1994.

  • Technical Official for Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon from till 2013.
  • Marathon Coach with Run India Run – 2011 till 2013.
  • Represented Team Mumbai Suburbs as a Coach/Manager.
  • Maharashtra State Athletic Championship at Aurangabad- 2005.
  • Maharashtra State Sub - Junior Athletic Championship at Kolhapur - 2002.
